On 18 June 2026, the Hon’ble District Commissioner of Tamulpur visited Dongargaon No. 1 Village under the Nagrijuli Development Block to assess the proposed pipe-based drinking water supply scheme under the Vibrant Villages Programme-II .
During the visit, the team, along with community members, inspected the local spring and other potential water sources. The District Commissioner also interacted with villagers and held discussions on various aspects of holistic village development.
The visit was attended by the Vice President of Gramya Vikash Mancha (GVM), the Assistant Executive Engineer of PHED, and the Regional Coordinator of BRLF, reflecting a collaborative effort towards improving rural infrastructure and community well-being.
